Dr.A.K.KAVITHA is working as Head Librarian, Sakthi Institute of Information and Management Studies, Pollachi. past experience, she a was Chief librarian of Rathinam college of arts and science in 2002-2014, She has 20 years of experience in the field of Library.

Her qualification is PhD in Library Information Science at 2016, MPhil in Library Information Science at 2005 UG Degree BA Psychology PG Degree MJMC and MLISc, PGDLAN.,

She has presented more than 15 papers in various conference and   published 3 articles in International and National journals she has Published one book and attended more than 40 conferences, Seminars, Workshops and Faculty Development Programmes.   She got best women Librarian Award -2018 from Madras Library Association, Chennai. She is Resource person in various programmes. She is life member of ILA, MALA &SALIS. She is an active member of various academic committees in Sakthi institute of Information and Management Studies. Presently she is President of MALA Coimbatore Chapter. NAAC 4 Criterion manager in siims college and coordinator of POSH cell, Women Empowerment cell, Extension and Out Rich Programme & NPTEL Spoc Local Chapter, SIIMS NDLI Club Secretary, this is an ACADEMIC IDENTITY.
