Dr. R. Kavitha is an accomplished academician with over 26 years of teaching experience in the field of management education. She is currently serving as an Associate Professor at SIIMS Business School. She has completed her Ph.D. in Finance subject at Bharathiar School of Management and Entrepreneur Development, Bharathiar University. Her academic interests lie in the areas of Finance and Marketing, which she teaches as core and elective courses. Dr. Kavitha’s unique ability to blend theoretical concepts with real-world business scenarios has earned her recognition among students and peers alike. She has completed a minor research project sanctioned by ICSSR with Rs.2,00,000. She has published 1 patent, 2 books, 28 book chapters and more than 50 research articles in reputed international and national journals. She has completed 8 certificate courses conducted by NPTEL. She has received Smart inspirer award from Pennathikara Iyyakkam and Discipline star award from NPTEL.

Throughout her career, she has guided numerous student projects, participated in academic conferences, and contributed to curriculum development initiatives. She is known for her student-centric approach, strong mentorship, and consistent academic excellence. With a passion for continuous learning and professional development, Dr.R.Kavitha actively participates in faculty development programs, workshops, and seminars to stay updated with the latest trends in management education.
