Dr. R. Thiyagu has over two decades of dedicated experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. His areas of specialization include Finance, Accounting, and Marketing, with a commendable track record in reputed institutions. He has successfully guided five M.Phil. scholars and one Ph.D. candidate. He has actively participated in numerous conferences organized by various universities and has presented several research papers. His research contributions include publications in both national and international journals.

Dr. Thiyagu has organized several national-level seminars, workshops, faculty development programmes (FDPs), and guest lectures. He has also served as a member of the International Association of Business, Commerce, and Technology Faculty, based in New York, USA. Additionally, he was the Chief Editor of the International Journal of Computational Research and Development (IJCRD) and served on the editorial board of the International Journal of Applied and Advanced Scientific Research.

He has authored six books and currently serves as the Chairman of the MBA Valuation Board under Zone X of Anna University. He was also a Member of the Board of Studies for the MBA program at Karpagam College of Engineering (nominated by Anna University, Chennai) and for the BBA (CA) program at Sri GVG Visalakshi College for Women, Udumalpet.

At present, he is working as a Professor and Academic Head at Sakthi Institute of Information and Management Studies, Pollachi, with over 29 years of experience in the field of academics.
