Faculty Initiatives on Teaching and Learning

At Sakthi Institute of Information and Management Studies (SIIMS), faculty members continuously undertake innovative and student-centric initiatives to improve the quality of teaching and learning for MBA students. These initiatives are designed to move beyond conventional lecture-based instruction and promote active learning, experiential learning, collaborative learning, technology-enabled learning, industry-oriented learning and outcome-based education.

The Department follows a systematic approach in planning, implementing, evaluating and improving teaching-learning practices. The major initiatives include:
  • Case Study-Based Learning
  • Experiential Learning
  • Group Discussions and Student Presentations
